I made this to summarize who I am for you:

Seriously. I’m a coffee addict.

I’m also wife to David, mom to four outstanding kids, persistent asker of questions, and follower of Jesus. Not necessarily in that order.

I write from the middle place. I haven’t arrived and my story hasn’t been wrapped up and tied with a neat little bow. I’m guessing yours hasn’t either. I just want to create a place for those of us who are okay with that, or who are trying to be. God is near to those with a broken and contrite heart, so I think it’s a good place to be.

Brazen Joy is part journal, part therapy. It’s my space. It’s where I go when my words begin to overflow and they need a place to land.
